Question: What is the most unusual architectural challenge in Hambrecht Oleson Design’s 23 year history?

Answer: Renovating a 6800 square foot funeral home to become one of NJ’s largest cannabis dispensaries. Working with the brother and sister owners, Gian Lombardi and Gabriella Wilday, we created a warm, inviting community space in Haledon NJ.

How: Refreshing the exterior with a new handicapped ramp, entry doors, lighting, and landscaping.

On the Interior, removing traditional chapels and hallways to develop an airy, open sales floor with French doors, reclaimed wood counters, found furniture, tin ceilings and industrial accent lighting.
